Thomas has won a number of Awards for his work - most recently for his filming and editing in the aftermath of the Haiti Earthquake, the Japan Tsunami and the Volcano eruption in Iceland. In 2010 he was featured on the front page of the NPPA magazine, as well as a in the Danish trade publication AVM.DK. Thomas also occasionally lends his expertise and extensive experience as an awards judge - i.e. the international Emmy Awards and the North Eastern Emmy Award.
